
What is Substance Misuse Prevention?
The Division of Substance Use Prevention (DSU- Vermont Department of Health) defines prevention as “reducing the harmful effects of tobacco, alcohol, and other drugs and stopping addiction before it starts by working alongside treatment, recovery, and harm-reduction services.”
