United Way of Addison County is excited to announce that Maria Collette of Ferrisburgh has joined our staff as Accounting & Operations Coordinator!
Maria grew up in Massachusetts but has lived in Addison County for nearly 25 years, spending the majority of her adult career working in the health field. Maria loves the amazing scenery and outdoor opportunities, the arts and culture, the dining experiences, and the people of Addison County. She has enjoyed getting to know and working with the people of this community.
If you think you’ve heard us say Maria’s name before - you’re right! Maria served on UWAC’s Board of Directors for four years. “We were delighted when Maria expressed interest in joining our staff,” said UWAC Executive Director Helena Van Voorst. “Maria has a deep commitment to the UWAC mission and a strong understanding of the work of many nonprofits in Addison County. Her natural instinct to serve others makes her a perfect fit for our small-but-mighty team.”
Maria’s first day at UWAC was on Monday, December 1st. Welcome, Maria!
