Supporting Young Children & Families

We believe every child should enter school on a path to succeed and, to do this, we must move the entire family forward together.

All children have the potential to succeed in school and in life, but not all children have the same opportunities to realize that potential. In Addison County, 67% of infants likely to need care and 55% of toddlers likely to need care don’t have access to any regulated programs. For children in child care, early educators play a central role in defining the early experiences that shape their development and help them succeed later in life. Every child in Addison County deserves that opportunity.

  • Expanding access to high-quality early education and care programs that promote early literacy and social skills.
  • Fostering a love of reading among preschool children by providing access to free books and programs
  • Create easily accessible and enjoyable pathways for personal growth while establishing social and community connections
